Why weight matters more on fine hair than you would think
Fine hair dries fast. That should mean short sessions, and it does — but it also means the most common mistake is over-drying, because the hair is already dry well before it feels finished. The lowest setting that dries it in reasonable time, which for fine hair is usually the low or medium setting rather than high. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends low or medium heat with a heat-protective product. Does a high wattage dryer damage fine hair?
